COVID 19

Compliance Statement

Venzi’s have carried out a risk assessment specific to the Covid-19 situation. All measures identified in the risk assessment have been and will continue to be implemented. As conditions change the risk assessment will be kept under review.

Infection, Isolation & Deep Cleaning

All persons working on or in the unit will be, to the best of their knowledge, free from any infection or disease. All staff have been reminded of possible symptoms of Covid-19 and instructed to inform their manager at once of such symptoms. If anyone shows symptoms of any infectious disease, they and others that they have been in contact with will be removed immediately and go into isolation, and all relevant vans and areas will be deep cleaned in accordance with Public Health Guidelines, before they can be used further.

Cleaning Procedures

Site, kitchen and sandwich van cleaning procedures have been reviewed in light of Covid-19 and additional cleaning measure have been put in place where this has been deemed appropriate.

Responsible Person

All units have a responsible person present at all times to ensure that the procedures outlined in this document and any subsequent legal requirements are complied with.

Training

All staff receive additional training in the safe washing of hands and additional sanitising measures, as well as the safe use of PPE.

Social Distancing

All Venzi’s staff comply with safe operating distances as far as is practicable. There are situation where this may not be possible, for this reason all staff are provided with full face visors to minimise or illuminate the risks, to staff or customers, posed by any potential exposure.

Delivery procedure

At each customer site, the driver will sanitise prior to opening display doors, or serving customers. All customers either use sanitiser prior to selecting their food from the van, or where this is not desirable to the customer, the driver will get this customers selections for them. This is to ensure that no coronavirus enters the food display areas of the van.

Payments

Contactless payments are encouraged, where customers prefer to use cash, staff are trained to sanitise after each time they handle cash to reduce contamination.
